This project is located in the steel slag operation area within the steel slag treatment workshop. This area is responsible for handling various types of slag generated during ironmaking and steelmaking processes, including ladle slag, converter slag, casting residue slag, and electric furnace slag. Although the steel slag treatment workshop is equipped with relatively complete processing facilities, environmental challenges persist during actual operations. During an on-site inspection, experts from the Metallurgical Planning Institute specifically highlighted the severe dust pollution issues in the intermediate storage area.
