The non-converter slag treatment process at Liangang Steel generates significant amounts of dust and flue gas, which fail to meet environmental requirements. To actively respond to national environmental governance policies and demands, promote cleaner production, comprehensively control fugitive dust and smoke emitted during the production process, improve the working environment, comply with increasingly stringent environmental standards, establish a sustainable green factory, and win the battle for blue skies, Liangang Steel has adopted our new wet dust removal system. This includes the No. 1 Slag Treatment Dust Removal System (with tank water injection), with a processing capacity of 350,000 m³/h, and the No. 2 Slag Treatment Dust Removal System (hot slag pouring pit), with a processing capacity of 450,000 m³/h. The dust removal systems are supported by newly constructed shared circulation and sedimentation ponds.
