During the steel slag treatment process at Changzhou Oriental Special Steel Co., Ltd., a significant amount of steam-laden dust is generated at multiple stages, including when trucks unload steel slag or granulated blast furnace slag into the treatment workshop, when loaders feed the slag into the charging inlet, and during subsequent operations such as transfer, crushing, screening, rod milling, and magnetic separation. This severely impacts the plant environment and personnel health.

In accordance with the national Opinions on Promoting the Implementation of Ultra-Low Emissions in the Steel Industry, our company has implemented further dust control measures in the steel slag treatment workshop to meet Changzhou Oriental Special Steel Co., Ltd.’s ultra-low emission targets, comply with national environmental regulations, and achieve cleaner production. After the upgrade, dust emissions are now within the standard limits, with a comprehensive dust emission concentration of ≤5 mg/m³.
