For a long time, dust generated during ship-loading operations has been a persistent environmental challenge for ports, posing risks to worker health and creating significant environmental pressure. This retrofit project focuses on three core modules—the chute’s steel structure, the intelligent lifting system, and the integrated electrical control system—achieving comprehensive technological upgrades. The intelligent automatic lifting system stands out as a key innovation. Equipped with high-precision material-level sensors, it monitors the material height in real time. Once a preset level is reached, the system drives the telescopic chute to rise steadily and accurately, automatically adjusting its height in response to dynamic changes in the material surface. Additionally, a specially designed flexible anti-spill skirt tightly conforms to the material surface, forming an effective sealed dust barrier. This design effectively suppresses dust escape at the source, significantly improving the operational environment at the port.
